![]() ![]() I think if she wasn’t the narrator then this book would’ve fallen short, in my opinion she’s the one who actually brings it all together. We get to see everything from Megan’s point of view which made me feel connected to her more than any of the other characters. ![]() They obviously don’t sound mature throughout the entire book (apart from Megan?) but you get to pick up on it through their conversations. Burdens that most people their age don’t carry. It’s not like your typical YA in which a few teenagers try to sound much older for their age just for the sake of it, these characters sound mature because of the burdens they carry. The plot is definitely one that I’ve never come across before which makes the book even more unique. This book deals with sacrifices, death, guilt, fear, love, forgiveness. I can’t remember the last time a book got so many emotions out of me. It made me laugh, it made me cringe, it got me excited, it made me cry, it made me think, it made me feel frustrated and at the end of it all, it made me smile. ![]() You might want to skip the Goodreads synopsis if you’ve decided to go in blindly!Įver wondered how a single moment can change the life of many?
